Today's theme is: Surely you are joking Mr. Feynman
Takes from a book of the same name, we will look at "contrarian truths" Mr. Feynman talked about, that look untrue at first glance. Richard Feynman was a Physics Nobel laureate, but also a fascinating human with a rich & enthralling life.
P.S. - Reading the book (same as the theme) is a definite recommendation by us and James Clear alike👉🏻
Despite being called extraordinary no matter where we went, he firmly believed that especially when it comes to skill/education, it's got way more to do with someone's dedication to learn than any inherent ability . Watch him talk about it in this short video clip.
Feynman was really displeased with our education system. He liked to be honest, blunt and himself, never taking himself seriously but yet making some very serious observations :
"I'm usually honest, in a certain way - in such a way that often nobody believes me." - Richard Feynman.
This account is dedicated to teaching his ideas and talks about his legendary learning technique here - Start by teaching. To a kid.
His lectures in physics and his books inspire a generation of scientists and learners, everything showcasing his central contrarian philosophy -
“I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned.” - Richard Feynman.
We hope you allow yourself to experience more of Mr. Feynman and we are surely not joking about that ;)
Cheers and see you soon 💫
